Getting excited about the CS: GO Awards?
The Esports Awards is a unique way to recognize and acknowledge the best players in the league for the year. Each and every nomination are chosen and submitted to the judging panel for further consideration during the next Process 1. Selection. The Esports Awards Panel will carefully compile a shortlist of contenders from each of the nominations. From the shortlisted candidates the Esports Award Board will select one player to be nominated as the best player for the Season. The player will receive an award which has been determined by the Board based on their performance during the previous year.

How do I qualify for the ESPORTS Awards? To be eligible for the ESL EU CS: GO EU Season 3, you must be an active player in the league. You must have played a minimum of ten games for your team in a row and have won at least one game. To be eligible for the ESL EU CS: GO EU Season 3, you must be playing at least sixteen (sixteen teams) games by the end of the current league's schedule.
What is the format of the actual award ceremony? On Friday, the top four teams from each league will be announced. Then the presentations will begin. The Cologne scene will host the ceremony. The actual ceremony will take place in one of the hotels located in Cologne.
Will there be awards for the summer season? We cannot confirm or deny whether there will be ESL CS: GO EU awards for the summer or not. Since it's still early in the planning stages, we can't tell you if we'll get a World Games award or not during the summer. It would be great if we get such an award as soon as possible, so watch the future announcements carefully.
Are there separate awards for the months of August and November? There might be a separate CS: GO EU awards ceremonies for the month of September and the month of October. If there will be separate events for the two months, it would make sense for the CS: GO organization to host the event during the month of September, as it coincides with the major CS: GO tournament, which will be held during that month. The same scenario may also apply if there will be separate gaming tournaments for the months of October and November.
Who are the contenders for the CS: GO EU honors? At the moment, only one European team has a real shot at winning the title: Astralis. The team is made up of several well-known players from within Europe and is led by former Counter-Strike 1 player, Peter "pper" Siliks. Astralis has several contenders though. Team dignity, having beaten mousesports in the recent European EPS season, is closely following.
Will there be new ESports awards for the next year? Right now, there will be only one CS: GO awards for the year, and it will be the league championship. There won't be any new ESports awards for the coming years because the current ones will be sufficient for next year. With the popularity of the game and the huge number of people who play it, there will be a multitude of possible CS: GO awards for the next few years.
Other than the CS: GO tournament, there will also be a series of other events during the year. These include the ESL Cologne event, theology event, the uk finals and the European online season. To make sure that there are no gaps in between events, the CS: GO panel will be adding several events for the year.
